What happens at your appointment
Your valuer will assess your items and give you an honest appraisal and auction estimate. An auction estimate is the price range which we set to encourage competitive bidding. It is important to set this estimate at a level to attract attention from bidders worldwide. If you would like to sell, we agree a reserve with you. A reserve is the lowest price you will accept.
There is a 10% “auctioneer’s discretion” which allows for small flexibility when selling.

Yes. Send Us Your Photos and a valuer will reply with friendly guidance. It is the easiest first step.

Do you do home visits?
Yes. We are the auction house that comes to you, covering England, Scotland and Wales. We offer complimentary auction valuations in the comfort and privacy of your own home. This can be useful for assessing large collections or prior to house clearance.
What about probate or insurance valuations?
